Today we did our exit ticket it was show that you wrote a show don't tell in your character setting and re crafting but I didn't do the character setting I did free writing (Ms Jensen told me I can) the story is about this picture.

So my show don't tell is I had a big smile on my face and I spoken too fast that my eyes were about to die (What that means is like I was about to fall asleep.)

Reflection about Listen To Reading LTR Friday 4th November 2016

Today I read a story called Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs:Weird Weather so it was about Flint's Food Machine changing the people in Swallow Falls lives and the mayor decided to change Swallow Falls into Chewandswallow to celebrate the amazing food rain. Flint was programming his machine to make different sorts of food the machine made pizza stuffed inside a turkey and the whole thing deep-fried and dipped in chocolate. When it was the day before the grand re-naming ceremony and tomorrow the whole world would be watching Swallow Falls turning into Chewandswallow.

In the morning Imran Raghav and I made a slingshot that launches a food thing so the story was that Mr Davidson has tiny friends and they have to sides one their home and the other is their food place one time the boats were broken and they could not get across so we need to build a thing to get the food at their home.

The Peaceful and quiet day Thursday 14th October 2016

Today was a peaceful and quiet day and it was fun because we got to act it is for our iExperience it is Cyber Bullying Raghav Ricky and I was doing a act it was about Raghav clicking on a ad and I jumped in and I said dont click on ads its going to be a scam and there is a bit of humour. But we didnt get it done because some people interrupt our video.

THE YUMMIEST DAY EVER Tuesday 20th September 2016

TODAY WAS A YUMMY DAY We baked Lemonade Scones it was really yummy when we eat when its hot. Also we use Sprite which is like lemonade but the only bad thing was it did not taste like lemonade . The fun thing I like was putting the dough onto the flour and I also like mixing it with my hands . I like it because it was sticky and it was like slime and I never made slime before and that's what slime kinda feels like a bit but sticker and I like cutting and folding it (or like mixing but goes under the whole bowl then it comes back up again) it with a spoon and when I got home I put it on a plate for my mum and dad to eat and try it.

The last DodgeBall training Monday 5th September 2016

Today was a REALLY GOOD DAY  in DodgeBall it was our last training which means that we are nearly close to the FlatBush cup tournament. I'm really excited because I want to see other schools if they are good or not and if they train or not. And today the speech came out and it was really good and it made my day even better. In DodgeBall a guy (I don't know his name but he is in LH1) tried to get me but I blocked it with my ball then I got the guy out and I was proud because I don't really block a lot and he was close to me. And also when Mr Hattie tried to get me I dodge it which I was proud.

iReflect about my AMAZING DAY Thursday 18th August 2016

Today was a amazing day because we won DodgeBall and its my friend birthday and his name is Henry. Henry said if he loses in DodgeBall on his birthday he will get bad luck but he wins he would get good luck. In DodgeBall I was really excited because I was believing myself that we would win because first match we went up against them we lost and we want to go against them again and we actually won this time which is really good and also 3 teams are tied up my team Bypass Ninjas and the other two is  #Oresome and DodgeBall Kings and we are going up against the same people and also we are going to vs DodgeBall Kings . I'm really excited and not because we might lose which we do not want.

Today was a good day but I think tomorrow is better because there is Dodgeball and we think we might win against #Oresome team because they got six people because Christian is away and we might have seven because Dayne might be sick on Thursday too but I think we could still win. The part of my day I like is P.E because we were exercising too keep us fit and it was fun because we did a game of like passing a stick thing to the other person but we did different stuff not just sprinting. First we skip then jump then sprint and after it we did zombie tag.

What sport I want to represent NZ Friday 12th August 2016

This afternoon I felt inspire by Andrew Nicholson he taught us to not give up and follow the person that is your role model.Andrew Nicholson's role model is his brother when he was a kid he didn't have that much friends. Some of Andrew Nickelsons  friends were really naughty after he did not follow them because he knows what they do so he follow his brother. His brother was a good role model and that's how Andrew Nicholson got into the Olympics games. If I had to chose a sport that I like to represent NZ in the Olympics games is Dodgeball (Even though its not a sport in the Olympics game) I would want it because its a really fun game and also you get better at throwing. If I really want to be the best at Dodgeball is to train. Training is really good because if you train more and more and more you will get better if you don't you will fail and not achieve what your dream is.

The good and not so good day Wednesday 10th August 2016

In the morning I felt so excited because there was DodgeBall we were going up against Christian's team their team was called #Oresome and our is Bypass Ninjas when it was iBreak 2 I felt more excited because we were nearly going up against Christain's team. The first match was The Cheaters vs Super Mechs and the second match was Bypass Ninjas vs #Oresome and the third one was The Cheaters vs LH1 Super DodgeBall boys and girls. When it was a match up against Team #Oresome I was ready When Mr Hattie blow the whistle we thought we were not suppose to go we thought he was getting the attention but it was not so we did not get the ball first we lost the match because we didn't catch balls but only Henry catch it sometimes when it was iExperience I was happy it cheered me after the lost and also the P.E we did the Tikanga Maori first we were practising our Poi performance so we can get ready.

The Mini Olympics game Tuesday 9th August 2016

Today we did the Mini Olympics for iExperience we only did two games because we did not have three teachers we only had Mrs Jensen and Ms Hickey so we did two activity the two activity was EXTREME Mini Golf and Count crunch the Count crunch one was you have to count to 100 and you have to count fast who ever count the fastest in the group you come first second third and fourth I came fourth because I got 1 minute and something and the EXTREME Mini Golf is you get a spoon and you whack the cotton ball and the person measure it how far I got the furthest in the group.

Today was a good day because I got a lot of my iExplore done but I did not finish it when I was suppose to. Ms Jensen told me that was my due date but the stuff that I got done was creating two books one of the book was The BFG book because it was my favourite and I want other people to try new things that have not read or watch because afterwards they might like it and the other book was James and the giant peach and for the same I want to inspire other people to the book because they might like it after. My next plan is to make more tiny little books that Roald Dahl have made because for the same thing I want to inspire the people that never read these books because its AMAZING and #ORESOME.

Blogging about my day Wednesday 27th July 2016

When it was Wednesday I was excited because on Thursday there is a Roald Dahl competition and the competition is we have to draw The BFG my favourite character in The BFG book. When I check the design on our learning pathway for Wednesday I was like OH COME ON because we had to do relays and I hate relays because its not fun and I also thought it was going to be Dodge Ball and I thought we are not going to do it on a Friday. In the morning we did i-Explore I got a lot of work done then I usually on a i-Explore. I got a lot of work done because I was not distracted by anyone else and also I had a lot of work because it is a really big topic and i'm doing a really big poster for my presentation my next step is to do that every day and time because I really want to show the class what I have done and learn. The only maths thing I love was The Knowledge Focus group because it was easy and I love easy because if stuff are too hard I won't learn anything and I won't get it. The only thing that I like hard is reading because I like reading and I don't think that it is hard for me.

THE BFG MOVIE (Spoiler Alert Sunday 10 July 2016

On Sunday I went to watch The BFG movie we were deciding what to watch I wanted to see The BFG movie and my older brother wanted to see the Central Intelligence where The Rock and Kevin Hart are trying to save the world maybe I watch the movie at 12:45 when we're waiting for that time we play arcade games and we also watch it in the city Queen St. I felt sad because there was no KeyMaster there and I wanted to play KeyMaster. KeyMaster is where a game you have to get a key into slot where the prize when you get it in it turns upside down then come back to you then it drops the prize that you got. When it was 12:40 my uncle and I went to see the movie and we have to give it to the ticket stand thingy and you could get in the movie when we went inside the movie we saw some ads and new movies. I am going to skip some parts of the movie.

The weird thing that happen was that when the Queen the leader of guards like he calls the guards when something is wrong and two leaders of like solider that will stop the Giants and save the world drank it to when they drank it green fart came out. One of the leader fly into chandelier and one fly away some where and the Queen made the cloth of the table that there are eating fly a bit not off the table but a bit and Sophie was the only one that did not drink it because she knows what is going to happen green fart and a bit of a fire pop.

Some bits that was not in the movie was that The BFG did not  the giants into the pit like they are suppose to do.

THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE Friday 24th June 2016

In the afternoon Ms Jensen said if we are quiet for 20 minutes we get to go to P.E and that mission went well we stay quiet for 20 minute and we get to go to DodgeBall Zavier and Shaun went down first to setup. Ms Jensen said the people in the to go down next and I was one of it. I took my shoe at the Cubby then I went to the MultiSpace first because I was not talking when I was at the MultiSpace we wait for Ms Jensen we were doing Italy Versus Mexico When Ms Jensen and the other people came we get into the Italy and Mexico group When we were playing people were talking a bit but when we like play more and more we were quieter.

Yesterday we were doing a science project about soil we were thinking is the world going to run out of soil? I said no because we got soil everywhere the first thing was we got to get into groups I was with Shaun, Declan, Ricky, Shivin, Nathan Kimba-Jo and Nelvin but he was not in the first day because he was playing around anyways.

When day day that the tournament start I felt scared and happy I felt scared because we might lose all the games. I felt happy because I love soccer and I bring my good shoes that I am  good with it.When we got to the place there was more people than I expected in my dream and I thought there was only one field and I thought we go one at a time like not all years 6s go to versus each other then after the instruction were called out one was if they you heard the horn one time it means half time if they squeeze the horn two time it means the game is over after we got our space to eat and practice.

I was super happy and not super happy about my day because there was iDevelop reading and I like reading.My day went bad when it was the end of iBreak 1 I was happy because I wanted to go to the reading workshop but when I asked Ms Jensen is there a Insepector Gadget workshop Ms Jensen said check the school learning pathway and I was confused so when Ms Jensen went into the media space Ms Jensen was waiting there for 15 minute and I thought Ms Jensen was setting it up but Ms Jensen actually was waiting there for Inspector Gadget group and when Ms Jensen came out of the media space I asked Ms Jensen when are going to do the workshop and Ms Jensen said we cant because the Insepector Gadget group did not come Ms Jensen only had 1 student there and it was Shreya and I was not happy because I like reading workshop I like reading workshops because reading is fun reading makes you smart reading is for fun because there is lots of interesting books like The BFG and Charlie and chocolate factory.

Today WAS THE BEST DAY EVER because we had to design our own day when the year 6s and some year 7 went to National Leader Day we could do iRead any time and also I FINISHED MY MATHLETICS I GOT 2000 it was the best day because I get lots of things done and also in the morning I went to LH5 to do a Language workshop with Iman Saumya we learned about Nouns

iReflect on my soccer tournament

My soccer tournament is good it went well or wins of this and lose is this 4-1 we came 2nd in the soccer tournament 1st was PointView they got all the wins PointViews score wins is 5-0 okay i'm getting on to my position my position is Defend and Mid Fielder last to 2nd I change into a Mid Fielder I wasnt to bad and all my games I was Defender I was good at it I got a assistance it was a cool goal first I past the ball to Shaun then Shaun scored the goal  it was cool when I got to the the bus I felt so excited and scared.

Term 2 days

In term 2 May the Fourth Ms Jensen and Mrs Pearson have been changing stuff up like the iRead we have more time to read our book when we have more time I was getting in my book more and I get to read lots of pages. If I had no time in iRead I wont get lots of pages done and I wont get the book finish and I really want to finsh my book because its inspiring me my book is the BFG/BigFriendlyGiant.

People should read it because it has a good bit at the end like when your teacher close the lights and your teacher says get to the mat and your like NOOOOOO! I want to finish my book your like that when u get to a really good part. Moving on to the next subject maths we been doing maths test lately so we can see if your skills is good 

Term 2 is coming

Yesterday May the 1st we've been changing furniture around the habitat. The whole LH3 had to change it again because it was getting in the way and nearly all of the tables and chairs is at the other end of the habitat Ms Jensen told us in reading groups to change different parts of the habitat

Learning Observed

During iExperience in Week 5, the learners were able to opt in to Sustainability related sessions. Lim Hor chose to learn more about Honey Bees and why it is necessary to care for them on a global scale. He learned about reasons why global bee populations are decreasing and how this connects to the foods we eat. We also looked at the products that bees provide for us e.g. honey. There were 10 bee related challenges that the learners could choose from. All of the activities required them to demonstrate curiosity. One challenge was to use a recipe that included honey as an ingredient. We made Crunchy Banana Pops. Lim Hor had to cover a frozen banana with honey and then roll it in Rice Bubbles and sprinkles. Afterwards, he gave his Crunchy Banana Pop a rating out of 10 and discussed reasons for this.

Consider undertaking an iExplore to do with planting a bee friendly garden to help increase the number of bees in our school environment. Alternatively, look at how you could plant bee friendly plants at home. Make Crunchy Banana Pops at home using different toppings - describe how bees helped make the ingredients.
